We like to explain that we are  “like butterflies during the day and fireflies at night” in capturing all the special moments that happen at events. When it comes to guiding our clients we do that in a way that is easygoing and collaborative.

We celebrate diverse environments and thus our work never feels formulaic.  Our wedding and party photos are especially whimsical and fun! Through our photos, we will help you experience all the moments that you might not have witnessed yourself.

We come from a classic background of film and darkroom techniques but choose to primarily use digital these days for ease and environmental reasons.  We do all of our editing ourselves and create images that have a film-like sensibility.

We welcome last minute bookings but often have some booking as far out as a year and a half.

Please reach out as soon as you have a date set.

We ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the date and the balance on or before the event.

We will do our best to accommodate the date change.

In the rare case of a cancellation, we decide based on the reason of cancellation whether to keep the deposit or return it.

We create custom proposals based on date, location, duration and guest count.

Travel fees are always included. We look forward to traveling to your destination.

We have fun stories of handling adverse weather and it always involves rolling with it.

We welcome many different environments and  have traveled to 30 countries to date and many of the US states. Our home bases are in NYC and Seattle.

Yes! We often get asked to recommend make-up artists, videographers, florists, etc. When we aren’t free for a shoot, we can recommend our photographer friends as well.

We recommend you wear something you feel comfortable in and let us guide you through a relaxed and fun experience.

It varies by the type of shoot.

For weddings we plan for up to 12 weeks to ensure enough time for our thoughtful editing protocol, however samples are delivered within a few weeks to enjoy.

We deliver an online gallery that is password protected.  All delivered files will be in high resolution, perfect for printing and sharing with family and friends.
